Founded in 1996 by Pedro
Francisco Garcia Gutierrez, an art critic for the Prado Museum and
someone who has written quite a bit on Spanish religious paintings,
sculptures, etc., A.M.S.C. (Art Maison Selecting Committee) is an
organization of artists headquartered in the country that gave birth
to the world-renowned artists Picasso and Dali.
From out of his many years of research, Mr. Garcia Gutierrez focused
on the fact that Japanese art has exerted a great amount of influence
on European artists throughout history, and this group was organized
in order to publish the esteemed art bible "ART
MAISON" and assist art lovers and artists the world over
in learning even more about Japanese artists.
Appointing famous art critics and dealers active in western Europe
as selection committee members, A.M.S.C. is involved in many exhibitions
that are held in Europe, and its major influence as an authoritative
advisor on art is recognized by those in the world of art in Europe
and North America.
