Since our establishment in 1993, REIJINSHA has been involved in the planning of domestic and international exhibitions and the publishing of art books and materials. Making the best use of this vast experience and know-how, we also offer support to artists in a variety of ways such the production of individual art collection books and exhibition catalogues, as well as exhibition posters and postcards, etc. Even in terms of the production of an art collection book, there are various choices that can be made, from use of a hardcover for permanent and professional protection to a softcover like those of exhibition catalogues, and printing in either color or monochrome depending on the application and production budget. Specific processes include taking photographs of the work, creating a draft, soliciting comments from art critics, preparing the layout, and selecting the quality of paper, etc. In order for this to turn into content that is in harmony with the artist's desires, we have a Production Section staff that specializes in the production of art-related publication and who politely cooperate from the rough sketch stage all the way through to color proofreading and final printing. With recent advances in technology, even postcards for announcing individual exhibitions, etc., have become comparatively inexpensive. At REIJINSHA, we can offer a low-priced package from design and paste-up through to printing of full-color front and 2-color rear postcards at \25,000 for 500 pieces. (Separate estimates available when color proofing, etc., is required.)
